International interest in our university's innovations
The science and innovation parks of Obuda University are the first from Hungary who join the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP). The IASP leaders, Director General Ebba Lund, Luis Sanz, President of the Advisory Board and Paul Krutko, Managing Director of Ann Arbor SPARK, were today the guests of Rector Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, who also visited the University Research and Innovation Center (EKIK) on the Bécsi road campus.
Dr. Tamás Haidegger presented, among other things, the da Vinci surgical robot system, whose related research touches on several areas of AI. The guests praised the inventiveness of the Hungarians. In addition to robots and our cutting-edge inventions, they were also very impressed by the importance we attach to our traditions.
At the IASP conference on 1 April, there will be several presentations from Obuda University, and participants will be able to see our latest innovations in an exhibition.
