Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship

The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship Programme was established by the Government of Hungary in 2020 and was launched for the first time in the same year. The programme aims to provide students of Hungarian heritage living abroad with the opportunity to pursue Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at Hungarian higher education institutions. By acquiring valuable knowledge and skills during their studies, scholarship recipients are encouraged to support their local communities upon returning home, preserve Hungarian cultural values, and strengthen the ties between Hungary and Hungarian diaspora communities worldwide.
