Course Description:
Differential and integral calculus of real functions with several variables. Some applications of partial differentiation. Some applications of integral calculus. Numerical series and function series. Fourier series. Introduction to the theory of ordinary first and second order (linear) differential equations, practical applications. Laplace transformation. Application of Laplace transformation to solve second-order linear initial value problems.

Competences:
Developing the ability to apply rules and theorems. Establishing mathematical models necessary for solving problems arising during the exploration of the knowledge of specialized subjects by recognizing and applying the analogy of conceptual systems.

Topics:

Assessment: Condition for obtaining a signature: successful completion of mid-term test(s) and submission of homework assignments. Condition for taking the exam: obtaining a signature. Exam method: oral and/or written.
