Course Description:
Introduction to the possibilities of application of the basic visual elements, effects systems and the process of creation. Complex display, design, modelling by combining computer graphic techniques. Develop endeavours to solve problems with a process oriented system approach in a creative manner; able to switch between intuition and knowledge based approaches, when necessary.

Competences:
able to sort, observe, and analyse information collected during the design, implementation and operational processes, and to conclude the lessons, including the feedback into practice

Topics:
14 WEEK SCHEDULE:
1. week: Presentation of the tasks of the semester, collection of previews: presentation of architectural designs.
2. week: VISUAL PRESENTATION I., Digital Graphics and Rendering
3.week: VISUAL PRESENTATION II. Data visualization and infographic, Associate text and image, display it in a coordinated way.
4. week: VISUAL PRESENTATION III. Image design, contemporary trends in visual presentation.
5. week: VISUAL MECHANISMS IN THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT I-II. Colors and lights. Matter, form, space and function, Photography and Rendering
6. week: VISUAL MECHANISMS IN THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT III., Photography and Rendering
7. week: DESIGNING VISUAL EFFECTS I. The connections between 20th century contemporary art and architecture, design modeling
8. week: DESIGNING VISUAL EFFECTS II. , conceptualism (the objective representation of thought). Space and light installations (connection with interior architectural spaces).
9. week: DESIGNING VISUAL EFFECTS III. Landscape architecture, land art, object (connection with nature).
10. week: Assembling a portfolio, replacement, repair and organization of the material of the six-month tasks.
11. week: Presentation (verbal-visual), half-yearly tasks and oral presentation of the portfolio, self-assessment if necessary improvement.
12. week: Closing and evaluation of the semester, half-yearly tasks and portfolio submission.

Assessment: Mid-term task. All tasks and the PORTFOLIO must be accepted (at least sufficient) by the specified drop-off deadline. Oral presentation of the half-yearly work.
