Course Description:
The role of projects in the functioning of enterprises. Understanding the concept of a project, examining the characteristics of a project, the differences between projects and regular activities. The main stakeholders of a project and the criteria for project success. Description of the types of problems encountered in the management of projects. In addition to project management, project portfolio management and programme management will be described. The stages of the project life cycle and the characteristics of each stage. The most basic methods of project planning, from simple management techniques to more complex systems-based methods. The process of network design, interpretation of the GANTT diagram. Analysis of project risks and development of possible response strategies. Characterisation of agile project management. Closure tasks related to projects.
