Course Description:
The aim of the course is to develop the competence of students in the English terminology of architecture and technology in order to help them fit in a globalized world in the course of their work. Vocabulary development tasks embedded in the language topics, reading and listening comprehension, and speaking skills all play an important role during the course. The main topics are made interesting by processing short articles and videos, sometimes highlighting the use of certain linguistic phenomena, such as certain recurring word relationships, the role of different tenses or even the passive structure. During the term, each student is given the opportunity to present a project work of his or her choice in English in the form of a presentation or a video.
