Prof. Dr. Imomov Shavkat Jakhonovich

Prof. Dr. Imomov Shavkat Jakhonovich has a strong background in the field of agricultural mechanization and renewable energy. In 1982, he graduated from the MSc in Agricultural Mechanization at the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of the Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineering in Tashkent. In 1987, he obtained a postgraduate degree in industrial management as a graduate student at the Institute of Agricultural Production Engineers in Moscow.

He obtained his PhD (1991) based on renewable energy sources in power plants at the Doctoral School of Agricultural Production Engineering of the Moscow Institute of Agricultural Production Engineering. The subject of his doctoral thesis was the Justification of the parameters of biogas plants’ heat waste heat exchanger for the treatment of liquid manure. Prof. Dr. Imomov Shavkat Jakhonovich has also obtained a DSc (2015) in Biogas and fertilizers from agricultural waste technological basis of production, agricultural and reclamation machines, and mechanization of agriculture and reclamation works.

Prof. Dr. Imomov Shavkat Jakhonovichl has held various teaching positions, including professorships at the Bukhara Institute of Natural Resources Management, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, and other universities. His research supervisory overview indicates that he has led projects (2003-2023) related to the design and development of innovative tractor engines running on biofuel, biological gas extraction devices, and crop rotation systems.
