The Gábor Dénes Prize Winners Club on the Engineering and Medical Challenges of Cancer Research

Professor Dr. Levente Kovács, the rector, will give a lecture titled "Taming Cancer: Personalized Cancer Therapy with Model-Based Control Engineering Methods," while Dr. Zoltán Sápi, professor at the First Department of Pathology and Experimental Cancer Research Institute of Semmelweis University, will speak about the latest achievements in personalized treatment of liposarcomas at the event of the Gábor Dénes Prize Winners Club Association on February 29th.

Professor Dr. Levente Kovács recently defended his doctoral dissertation titled "Personalized Physiological Modeling and Control Using Robust Control Theory" at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His upcoming lecture at the Gábor Dénes Prize Winners Club may be of interest to laypersons as well, as the presentations are delivered understandably by invited experts throughout the program series.

Dr. Zoltán Sápi, professor at the First Department of Pathology and Experimental Cancer Research Institute of Semmelweis University, will discuss research on personalized treatment of liposarcomas. His presentation will also focus on targeted therapy.

The host of the evening will be Krisztián Szigeti, scientific senior lecturer at Semmelweis University and head of the Quantitative InVivo Molecular Imaging Laboratory.
