About the KIP
The Complex Instruction Method, introduced in schools in the United States, is an instructional approach that assumes a heterogeneous student population and can be used effectively to build the foundation for success for all students in school. The method aims to raise the level of knowledge of all children and give them a sense of achievement in the classroom. In Hungary, the programme was first adapted and introduced by the Hejőkeresztúr school in Borsod in 2001.
The KIP programme is applied by teachers in educational institutions through continuous training and mentoring. The national network has more than 100 schools and has been joined by schools from Slovakia and Romania.
