The Qatari Ambassador Conferred with Doctor Honoris Causa by Obuda University
Abdulla Falah Abdulla Nasser Al-Dosari, the Qatari Ambassador, was awarded Doctor Honoris Causa by Obuda University. The prestigious award was presented by Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács during a ceremonial event held in his honour on June 6. Strengthening international relations, particularly with the Middle Eastern region, is one of the prominent goals of Obuda University, emphasized the Rector.
Abdulla Bin Falah Bin Abdulla Al-Dosari is currently the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Hungary.
He earned his higher education degree in political science from Portland State University in the United States in 1980 and received an honorary doctorate from the European University in Geneva in 2010. In 2007, he was awarded the Grand-Croix medal by King Albert II of Belgium, in 2014, the Great Silver Medal (with Star) by Dr. Heinz Fischer, President of the Republic of Austria, and in 2019, the Grand Order of the Alawite Order, the highest honor bestowed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco to leaders and distinguished individuals. Previously, he served as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Austria, the Kingdom of Morocco, Pakistan, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Obuda University has been conferring honorary doctorates (Doctor Honoris Causa) since 2010, and Abdulla Falah Abdulla Nasser Al-Dosari is the 34th honorary doctorate recipient from Obuda University.
