SISY 2026 – International Scientific Exchange and Innovation in Intelligent Systems

The 24th IEEE International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY 2026) was successfully held in Pula, Croatia, providing an international forum for researchers, academics, and professionals to present and discuss the latest developments in intelligent systems, informatics, and related scientific fields

The strong international interest in this year’s conference was reflected in both the number and diversity of submissions. A total of 193 papers were submitted to SISY 2026, of which 142 papers were accepted following the peer-review process, resulting in an acceptance rate of 73.6%. The authors of submitted and accepted papers represented 16 countries, further highlighting the international character of the symposium.

The participating countries were Croatia, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Spain, Serbia, Slovakia, Romania, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Iran, North Macedonia, and Switzerland.



Beyond the presentation of scientific results, SISY 2026 provided researchers from different countries with an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience, discuss emerging research directions, and establish new professional connections. The symposium therefore contributed to strengthening international scientific cooperation and creating opportunities for further joint research and academic exchange.

The conference reflects Obuda University’s commitment to supporting international scientific collaboration and its active contribution to the global research community working on intelligent systems, informatics, and emerging technologies.
