From Engineering Sciences to Social Research – Keleti Faculty Hosts Prestigious International Conferences
In early July, the Keleti Károly Faculty of Business and Management hosted two distinguished scientific events: the 10th International Conference on Science and Technology (ICONST) and the 10th International Conference on Natural Science and Engineering Research (ICONSR).
A defining characteristic and primary mission of both conferences is to build bridges between diverse academic disciplines and create opportunities for meaningful cross-disciplinary dialogue. ICONST serves as a multidisciplinary forum where parallel sessions bring together advances in engineering, recent discoveries in the natural and life sciences, and current developments in medical and sports sciences. In contrast, ICONSR places a particular emphasis on social science research, thereby complementing ICONST and bringing together representatives from a broad spectrum of scientific fields.
The prestigious events were officially opened by Prof. Dr. Mónika Garai-Fodor, Dean of the Faculty, who welcomed the participants before they attended three inspiring plenary lectures delivered by Prof. Dr. Bart Muys, Prof. Mohamed Bouaziz, and Prof. Dr. György Molnár.
During the second half of the day, the scientific programme continued in parallel thematic sessions, where researchers had the opportunity to present their individual work in greater detail and engage in direct professional discussions. These sessions provided a valuable forum for exchanging research experiences, sharing practical insights, and exploring future opportunities for collaboration.
