Visit from Beijing University of Chemical Technology
On 21 October 2025, Obuda University welcomed a delegation from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) to discuss future cooperation and explore new avenues for academic and research collaboration.
The session was opened by Vice Rector Zoltán Rajnai, who greeted the guests and provided an overview of Obuda University’s structure and international strategy. Dr. habil. Johanna Sápi from the Faculty of Informatics and Prof. Dr. Tünde Anna Kovács from the Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering presented their faculties’ educational and research activities, highlighting shared interests in engineering, materials science, and environmental technologies.
The BUCT delegation, led by Vice President Prof. Su Haijia, introduced the university’s international strategy and expressed a strong commitment to innovation-driven cooperation. Both sides discussed opportunities for student and staff mobility, joint research projects, and the preparation of a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize collaboration.
