Cooperation with South Korean Chung-ang University has reached a new level

As a continuation of the discussions in Seoul in June, a delegation from South Korea's Chung-ang University (CAU) was hosted at Obuda University. Within the framework of this, the two universities, among many others, decided to launch a joint doctoral supervision in the fields of biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and robotics on 17 July.

The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, rector, and Prof. Dr. Imre Felde, vice-rector.
South Korea is one of the most dynamically developing countries in Asia, where in the past decades, parallel to industrial development, higher education has also developed continuously - emphasized Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, recalling that the delegation of OU met with the leaders of the CAU in June.

Our common goal is to educate specialists dealing with artificial intelligence-content who are able to understand the entire cycle of education, research, production, practice and innovation, as well as to develop research and development processes, said Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács after the meeting.
At the meeting, they agreed on the submission of the Erasmus+ credit mobility application in February 2024. Under the K-MOOC online curriculum development platform, they also agreed on the development of two English-language subjects. They also discussed the launch of a joint English-language MSc course, courses involving alternative energy, as well as the possibilities inherent in electronics research and development.
