Hungarian Fulbright Alumni Day and Conference – Focusing on Connecting Knowledge and Impact

Óbuda University hosted the Hungarian National Fulbright Alumni Day Conference, an international professional event organized by the Hungarian Fulbright Association on May 21. Centered around the theme "Bridging Knowledge and Impact – International Models of Academic-Industry Knowledge Transfer," the conference focused on knowledge transfer between academic and industrial stakeholders, innovation collaborations, and international talent mobility.

Opening remarks at the event were delivered by, among others, Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector of Óbuda University, Prof. Dr. János Levendovszky, Vice-Rector of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, as well as representatives from the U.S. Embassy and the Hungarian Fulbright Association.



During the plenary and breakout sessions of the conference, domestic and international experts shared their experiences in the fields of intellectual property protection, university-industry collaboration, innovation management, and international research relations. The presentations placed a special emphasis on the commercialization opportunities of university research, as well as the role of the Fulbright Program in supporting academic and professional networking.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for professional dialogue, institutional networking, and the sharing of international best practices, further strengthening Óbuda University's international and innovation-driven commitment.
