New Horizons in International Cooperation

A delegation from Quinnipiac University in the United States visited our university on 6 May. The goal of the meeting was to lay the foundation for cooperation between the two institutions, with a special focus on computer science and engineering.

During the discussion, key topics included expanding student and faculty mobility and exploring opportunities for joint research projects. "Through Quinnipiac University's global educational programs, numerous opportunities for international experience are available, including semester-long studies, short-term programs, and international internships," said Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector.



He added, "We also focused on the development of the startup environment and industrial relations, and there was clear interest in doctoral programs, which could open new opportunities for partnership between the two institutions."



During the professional meeting, the delegation also visited the Antal Bejczy iRobotics Center at Obuda University. As mentioned, the center's activities and research outcomes could provide additional opportunities for the partnership, particularly in the development of doctoral programs and the startup environment.

The exploration of cooperation opportunities between the two institutions provides a promising foundation for future joint projects and the strengthening of international relations.
