Kazakh guests at the OU
Guests from the leading university of Astana, the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU), came to the Óbuda University. Baglan Togizbayeva, Head of the Department of Transport, Transport Equipment and Technologies and Associate Professor Aliya Zabieva were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács.
During the visit, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which reflects the issues of international cooperation between the universities, informed Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, who said that the Central Asian region is a priority area of the internationalization strategy of the University of Óbuda. In April this year, a delegation of Óbuda University, represented by Rector Levente Kovács, Senior Vice Rector András Molnár, György Györök, Dean of the Alba Regia Faculty of Technology, Monika Pogatsnik, Deputy Dean of the Alba Regia Faculty of Technology and the Central Asia Region Coordinator, visited the Eurasian National University to establish cooperation in the areas of academic mobility, faculty attraction and research practices for doctoral students.
