The IEEE CIS Chapter Renewal General Assembly
The Computational Intelligence Hungary Chapter held its general meeting on 3 April, at which the election of the board of directors took place. The membership of the Chapter has shown a significant increase in the past year. This represents an increased interest in the subject area among the engineering community," said Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector and President of the IEEE Hungary Section.
Obuda University hosted the general assembly of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Inc.) Computational Intelligence Hungary Chapter. The organisation is an important member in the support of international IEEE conferences.
Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, President of the IEEE Hungary Section, Rector of Obuda University, in his welcome speech praised the activity of the association and commended the chapter for its efficient work and for having roughly doubled its membership. As a token of his appreciation, he presented a commemorative plaque to Dr. Zsolt Csaba Johanyák, Vice President of the chapter.
