Cooperation with a young and emerging university in Mexico
Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector and Marisol Vanegas, REctor of the Universidad Del Caribe Cancún, Mexico signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the possibility of starting a double degree and the implementation of bilateral research and development projects.
- We consider the Universidad Del Caribe, Mexico as a strategic partner institution", said Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector of the Universidad Del Caribe, Cancun, Mexico.
He added: under our agreement, we can expect a well-functioning cooperation in terms of double degree, mobility and joint doctoral studies in the fields of computer science, economics, environmental engineering, electrical engineering, architecture, and we have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch bilateral research and development projects, which was signed after several rounds of negotiations.
Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector, and Prof. Dr. Imre Felde, Vice-Rector for Industrial and Business Relations, visited the Universidad Del Caribe in Cancún at the end of last year, where they discussed cooperation between the two institutions with Rector Marisol Vanegas Pérez. The ÓU leadership has initiated student, faculty and researcher exchanges in the fields of data analysis and artificial intelligence, additive technologies, and plans to organise joint start-up events.
