Tradition-building Doctoral Ball

Óbuda University has about 300 doctoral students, their number is increasing year by year, raising the academic standing of our university - emphasized Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács in his opening speech at the University Doctoral Ball in the lobby of the university's central campus on 7 October. Every such event is an opportunity to strengthen our community through new friendships and professional contacts," the Rector added.

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector of Óbuda University, and the participants were welcomed on behalf of all three doctoral schools of Óbuda University. Prof. Dr. József Tar, Head of the Doctoral School of Applied Informatics and Applied Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Mihály Réger, Head of the Doctoral School of Materials Science and Technologies, and Prof. Dr. Zoltán Rajnai, Dean ofBánki Donát Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering, addressed the audience on behalf of the Doctoral School of Safety and Security Sciences.
At the traditional event, Marianna Kucarov, President of the Doctoral Students' Association, representing the PhD students, also spoke about the value of community work, emphasising the importance of professional work.
