The mission of the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics is to educate the next generation of highly skilled computer engineers and to perform R&D activities to make our world a better place. The goal of the Faculty is to produce and disseminate theory, principles, practice and know-how of computing in the information age, for the critical analysis, design, evaluation. The educational programs, aimed at alleviating the demand for BSc and MSc level computer engineers in industry, business and in higher education, focuses on the totality of the areas of Computer Engineering such as programming languages, computer architecture, algorithms, operating systems, and other core and supporting areas.
