On January 1, 2004, we succeeded in consolidating the physical education curriculum requirements at the university level by establishing the Institute of Physical Education and Sport, which was created as an independent institute of the Keleti Károly Faculty of Economics. The Institute is responsible for the professional methodological management, development, and maintenance of physical education classes, as well as the organization and implementation of competitive and amateur sports competitions at various levels.

We provide our students with the conditions necessary for regular exercise, raise awareness of the preventive benefits of physical training, and promote a healthy lifestyle. In addition to physical education classes, the Institute of Physical Education and Sport and our sports instructors welcome applications from amateur and competitive athletes who are willing to represent our university in various university and college competitions organized at the Budapest, regional, or national level.
