The first Smart Industry Scientific Industrial Park in the country will be built in Somogy county as a joint project of Óbuda University and the municipality of Kaposvár.

The common goal is the development of the region’s industry and social inclusion. In the future, they will help start-ups by developing innovative solutions and provide new educational opportunities in the city and its environs for young people interested in the technical field, so that students can stay in the city and settle here.

The smart building, which is equipped with near-zero energy, high-level information and communication technology and intelligent control technology, will also carry out research and development on specialty paints, spraying processes, metalworking, bonding technology and the recycling of pollutants. In addition, the development of military technologies will be a priority.
