The Rudolf Kalman Foundation for Óbuda University, Óbuda University and the municipality of Zsámbék have collaborated to create an innovation center where researchers will experiment and produce the technologies of the future in cybersecurity, 5G / 6G, artificial intelligence, medical technology, AR / VR , robotics. With all this, strengthening the domestic industry and the companies operating in the area, increasing the university technology transfer activity in Hungary and abroad.
The government-sponsored investment will rehabilitate the former Soviet barracks. An important advantage of the plot, which is currently in a very neglected condition but has excellent industrial development opportunities, is that it is located in an easily accessible place, close to the capital.
The long-term goal of the project is the development of the region, for which the Zámbék local government, which supports investment, can implement industrial development and social inclusion through the scientific activity of Óbuda University.
