Course Description:
The concept of controlling and management accounting, the elements of a controlling system. Design of the controlling organisation, types of controller. Management costing, concept and classification of costs, concept, types and methods of costing, analysis of the costing structure, liquidity planning. Standard costing. Scale analysis. Concept and requirements of planning, plan-actual variance analysis. Investment profitability studies, static and dynamic methods. Design of controlling information system, role of indicators in controlling. Higher stages in the development of a controlling system (ZBB (zero-based costing) system, GWA (general cost analysis)). The concept and tasks of logistics controlling. Logistics performance and cost.

Assessment: - Completion of 2 theoretical and practical tests with a minimum of 50% during the semester - based on answers to essays questions and practical exercises. - The class work counts towards the assessment - Absences from classes must not exceed the value specified in the TVSZ.
