Prof. Dr. József Bokor
József Bokor (M’87) received the Dr. Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in automation from the Technical University of Budapest, Budapest, Hungary, and the D.Sc. degree from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest, Hungary, in 1990.,Currently, he is a Research Director with the Computer and Automation Research Institute, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, where he is also the head of the Systems and Control Laboratory.
He is a Professor and Head of the Control and Transportation Automation Department, Faculty of Transportation Engineering, Budapest University of Technology and Economics. His research interests include multivariable systems and robust control, system identification, fault detection with applications in power systems safety operations and also the control of road and aerial vehicles and mechanical structures.,Dr. Bokor was elected Corresponding Member and later Full Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 1999 and 2002.
