Joint research project opportunity with TAIWAN TECH university - more than HUF 5.000.000 funding available per project.

Obuda University and the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (TAIWAN TECH) are offering an opportunity to participate in joint projects, which offers researchers a unique chance to launch or strengthen international collaborations, with more than HUF 5.000.000 of funding available per project.

The program aims to provide the necessary financial support for research activities, increase the visibility of joint scientific results among international academic and industrial communities, as well as to develop and strengthen long-term, strategic research and innovation collaborations between the two institutions.

The application is for a one-year period (July 1st, 2026-June 30, 2027), with an available budget of over HUF 5.000.000 per project.

Who can apply?

Researchers from both Obuda University and TAIWAN TECH are welcome to apply by submitting joint project proposals.

Research areas

Applications are open to initiatives from all scientific fields and interdisciplinary research areas.

This call for proposal is an excellent opportunity for researchers at Obuda University to build new international collaborations, publish jointly, and further strengthen our university's international scientific presence.

The first step of the program, participants will present their research areas during an online „matchmaking” event and will have the opportunity to establish new partnerships.

The online meeting will begin with a short opening session, followed by an overview of the joint research program. After that, researchers will introduce themselves and briefly present their research topics and areas of interest in one-to-two-minute presentation. At the end of the program and opened discussion and networking session  will provide an opportunity for participants to connect with each other, and explore possibilities for future collaboration.

According to the planned schedule, the call for proposal will open in April and will be followed by a professional review process in May. In June, the evaluation and selection committee will decide on the projects to be supported, in July the implementation of the selected research projects can begin.
