Further Discussions with Tashkent University
Discussions on educational and mobility issues were held between the Tashkent State University of Chemical Technology (TICT) and Obuda University on July 1st and 2nd. Prof. Dr. András Molnár, General Vice-Rector, and Prof. Dr. Zoltán Rajnai, Dean of the Bánki Donát Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering, received Boborajabov Bakhodir Nasriddinovich, First Vice-Rector for Youth, Spiritual and Educational Affairs, and Saidumarkhon Saidakhmadov, Head of the International Relations Office.
Boborajabov Bakhodir Nasriddinovich, First Vice-Rector for Youth, Spiritual and Educational Affairs, and Saidumarkhon Saidakhmadov, Head of the International Relations Office, were guests of Obuda University from TICT.
Regarding the Science Park project in Uzbekistan, the Uzbek side proposed that the leadership of OU make suggestions on what laboratories and equipment should be established in the buildings. OU recommended conducting market research and needs assessment among local companies in Uzbekistan.
The delegation also visited the Bánki Donát Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering, where Prof. Dr. Zoltán Rajnai, Livia Mondics-Kurmay, Director of Education, and Antal Németh welcomed the guests. During the discussions, student mobility issues were addressed.
The BGK representatives presented the programs offered at the faculty. The guests showed great interest in the MSc program and the cybersecurity engineering course. It was mentioned that Tashkent State University is open to MSc programs and shorter student visits. BGK also offered this opportunity, based on credit recognition. The parties agreed that BGK would prepare a list of subjects that can be offered in English and Russian, while the experts from Tashkent University would compile a list of subjects that can be taught in English.
