Óbuda University's Kenyan connections have expanded with new educational partners

The delegation from Óbuda University was received by the Morendat Institute of Oil and Gas and the Kenya Pipeline Company in Nairobi.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Kipkirui Langat, the Director of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Dr. Esther Gacicio, the Chairperson of the Supervisory Committee of the Authority, Pius Mwendawa, the Chief Economist of the Kenya Pipeline Company, Prof. Paul Mwanza Shiundu, the Vice-Chancellor of the Technical University of Kenya, Dr. Jonah Aiyabei, the Director of the Morendat Institute of Oil and Gas, and representatives from these institutions. From Óbuda University, the delegation included Dr. Levente Kovács Rector, Dr. György Györök and Dr. György Molnár Deans, and Tamás Kersánszki, Head of East African Developments, representing the university.
During the visit, the newly established mobile welding workstations at the training center were showcased, where participants could observe trial welding. Following the visit, a discussion took place regarding short- and long-term cooperation possibilities, including topics like the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship, the Erasmus+ student and staff exchange and capacity-building programs.
