NAFSA annual conference and expo
NAFSA (National Association of Foreign Student Advisers) is the world’s largest and most diverse nonprofit association dedicated to international education and exchange. The fair is a place to meet university representatives, potential partners, agents and students from all over the word.
Obuda University participated in the NAFSA annual conference and expo in Washington, D.C. NAFSA, who has celebrated its 75th year of existence, is the Association of International Educators is the world’s largest and most diverse nonprofit association dedicated to international education and exchange. The ’Study in Hungary’ booth was represented by 6 Hungarian universities, one of which was Obuda University. The fair was a great success, university representatives met with many potential partners, agents and students. The Embassy of Hungary in Washington, D.C. invited the universities for a round table discussion about the current status of higher education in Hungary, and the group also participated in different free-time activities organized by NAFSA, such as the opening ceremony at a baseball field and receptions by the embassies of the participating countries.
