18th International Week at the Keleti Károly Faculty of Business and Management

The 18th International Week on the New Challenges of the 21st Century was held at the Keleti Károly Faculty of Business and Management (KGK) from 24-28 April. Participants from 11 countries attended the event.

Fifteen distinguished colleagues, old friends and newcomers, shared their knowledge with KGK students from eleven countries: Elona Shehu and Erjola Barbullushi from Albania, Hima Parameswaran from the United Arab Emirates, Marko Laitila from Finland, Pascal Ricordel from France, Jacques Bazen from the Netherlands, Nurszultan Asirimbetov from Kazakhstan, Paulina Filip and Mariola Grzebyk from Poland, Urs Pietschmann and Rainer Stollhoff from Germany, Aleksandra Fedajev, Marija Panic and Milica Velickovic from Serbia, and Zlatko Nedelko from Slovenia.



68 students registered for the event, 26 Erasmus students, 11 mechanical engineers, 10 technical managers, 6 computer engineers, 6 mechatronics engineers, 5 economics and management, 3 sales and marketing and 1 environmental engineer.

The visiting colleagues sat in on each other's classes, new professional contacts were made and existing ones strengthened. In addition to teaching, a research round table and a cultural programme led by László Borbás enriched the international week.



The students were able to encounter a wide variety of topics, according to the research and teaching areas of the visiting colleagues:  Corporate Planning and Management; Introduction to Game Theory; Digital transformation and Industry 4.0 – Organizational viewpoint; Globalization and Deglobalization; ctivity Based Management and Activity Based Costing; Comparative analysis of selected companies using the ratio analysis and Promethee method; Employee performance; How to improve your skills in project management? From thinking to training; Investing in Options Strategies; Organizational behavior – Challenges and Opportunities; Risk management techniques; Business club; The role of the financial system and its contemporary requirements; Planning as a function of management - challenges and expectations; Participating in an Exhibition abroad.
