Course Description:
The aim of the course is to deepen the complex knowledge about architecture, through design as a creative process. An important element of the semester is the application of problem understanding, task management, choice of research methodology and application. Developing a confident architect’s attitude to the relationship between the place’s age and vision in the given task. The activity of the students in a dense urban environment and the planning task are only a means to acquire and enrich proficiency and knowledge. The preparation of a scientific student dissertation (TDK) from the semester plan is strongly recommended, even if it is not mandatory!

able to comprehensively handle aesthetic, functional, technical, economic, social and legal expectations throughout the design process

1. week: Introduction, site visit
2. week: Consultation, choice of theme, inspirations.
3. week: Consultation: Concept plan - sketch. Installation alternatives.
4. week: Consultation: Concept plan - sketch. Installation alternatives.
5. week: Presentation: „sketch plan” presentation important views. model

7. week: Presentation: Plans 1: 200 scale, 2-5 important views. model

10. week: Presentation: Plans. 1: 100 scale (Floorplans, sections, elevations, rendering 3D wiews)

13. week: Final Presentation and task submission Final Projekt and its plans. 1: 100 scale

detail, 2-5 important sights, model photo.
14. week: Evaluation of the course
Assessment: Lectures during the semester with immediate evaluation. At the end of the semester, submit the assignment (upload to the online interface) and present a presentation. A grade is proposed by the consultant and approved by the lead instructor.
