in abstract thinking, to provide the students with basic knowledge on the link between civilization and
architecture – religion, philosophy and the society as a whole. The course extends the scope of
understanding architecture and urban planning with the elements of gardening and landscaping and
basic understanding of modern painting.
It also facilitates the students’ research abilities related to their future practice and further theoretical
